Dear Friends and Fellow Members,
As this pandemic school year ends and as students prepare to resume in-person classes this Fall, the Filipino American Community is also preparing to assist our young people prepare themselves for a higher level of learning.
From the founding of our prestigious organization in 1956 continuing through the present, this community has recognized deserving students by awarding scholarships to 7th grade through 12th grade levels who have achieved outstanding academic performance in a given academic year.
The Filipino-American Community, as being exclusively run by volunteers, presents an opportunity for the local community, business, individual members and non-members as well, to support and recognize the efforts of young people through the Fil-Am Community Scholarship program. We have historically recognized up to 20 students in a given academic year.
In retrospect, we are asking for your kind and generous donation to the Scholarship program to continue and be maintained to recognize and award present and future deserving students of our community in their quest for advancement to a brighter and successful future.
Please download the .PDF below for details regarding donation.
For questions, contact Nati Lapurga at nlapurga@sbcglobal.net or (707) 344-3869. Your donation is tax deductible as our organization is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization, EIN 237401745. Your kind support is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Carol Rosario
